Cat discovered yoga late in her teenage years. She played field hockey growing up and through college which required intense physical workouts in order to compete. To counter athletics, Cat was drawn to yoga. At the time, taking a yoga class just felt good. Through more and more practice, however, she was captivated by the connection of spirituality and physicality in yoga.
After graduating from college in 2017, Cat traveled through the Hawaiian Islands for a year. It was during these travels that she found that yoga is a practice and an escape that is always available to you, no matter where you are. On her way back to the East Coast, she completed her Yoga Alliance certified YT200 hour training in San Diego, California, and is certified to teach Vinyasa, Hot Hatha, and Yin Yoga. She is excited to return to Mercer County where she grew up, and to spread love and light through classes at emPOWER Yoga!
