Christine began practicing yoga shortly after graduating college. She began volunteering at a local studio as a way to meet new people and enhance her practice. Christine, who studied psychology in college, fell in love with the mind-body connection yoga emphasized. She became intrigued by holistic approaches to treat anxiety and stress and was amazed by how fantastic her soul felt post class. It was love at first Down Dog! She felt physically and mentally stronger after each class and wanted to spread that inspiration to others. As a result, Christine received her 200HR teacher training in Costa Rica through YogaStream in 2015. It was life-changing and Christine has been teaching ever since!
Christine hopes to empower clients in the same way her yoga community has empowered her- building strength and confidence both on and off the mat. She is thrilled to teach at emPower yoga! In her spare time, she loves hiking, spending time with her niece and nephew, and traveling.
