Lizzy’s journey began when she moved to Los Angeles, California seeking a career in screenwriting. Instead, she found a deep love and passion for yoga. She started her yoga practice in the summer of 2012 at 40lbs overweight and through her practice she found inner peace with herself, her career choices, and her body. In October 2013, Lizzy completed her 200-hour teacher training and has been teaching for the past 4 years. She has taught her dynamic vinyasa style around central New Jersey at several studios including YogaStream, Honor Yoga Hamilton, Honor Yoga East Brunswick, and Zephyr Yoga.
She emphasizes creating a safe and sustainable yoga practice through anatomy, alignment, and creative, intelligent sequencing. No matter where you are in your yoga practice, she promises that every student will be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Lizzy is a spiritual gangster in her downtime and in her daily life. She currently works as the NJ Regional Donation Center Manager for Soles4Souls. A non-profit based in Nashville, TN, Soles4Souls’ mission is to wear out poverty through the distribution of clothes and shoes around the world. She also serves her local community as the VP of Fundraising for the Honor Yoga Foundation, which fosters peace and healing in our communities by providing yoga-related wellness programs to under-served and at-risk populations.
