Missy was introduced to yoga in 2011 by a wonderful friend who encouraged her to try a class. Since then, Missy began taking a beginner’s workshops to learn more about the practice. From then on, she fell in love with the practice of yoga. It wasn’t until she went through a period of darkness that the practice became a way of life for her. Yoga saved her life! And so, she has been eager to get on the mat and learn and grow through this practice. Now, she’s excited to share her new knowledge with the world! Missy finished her 200-hr teacher training at YogaStream in Princeton, NJ. Through this training, Missy learned the importance to discuss not only the wonderful and amazing things about the yoga practice, but also explain the risks, and really emphasize proper alignment and intelligent movements. Also through this teacher training, she learned the importance of love and compassion, on and off the mat.
