Keri Mandell

Keri is the owner and founder of emPOWERyoga. Keri is a 500 hour RYT Yoga Teacher, CrossFit Coach, & Triathlon/Running Coach. Keri’s high energy and go get ‘em attitude is infectious and challenges her clients to want to do & be their best.

Natalie Johnston 

Natalie is the owner and founder of runfitcoaching.com. Natalie is a RRCA & USATF Running Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, & Licensed Massage Therapist. Drawing from her own life’s journey, Natalie empathizes with the challenges and triumphs of life and training. Guided by her experiences, she is devoted to empowering others to discover their inner strength and become the best version of themselves.

THE PROPERTY

This property is located in the Groundhog Mountain area of Virginia, around milepost 195-200 of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is centrally located around the midpoint of the parkway, but it is surrounded by lots of great towns and markets to explore and visit. 

You can drive from NJ in 7.5 hours or take a flight to Charlotte, Raleigh, or Greensboro and drive from there.

YOGA CLASSES:

Each yoga class will be customized for active recovery. Classes will be taught for all levels. Keri will provide modifications for beginning yogis and also opportunities for advanced practitioners to grow their practice. 

GROUP RUNS/HIKES:

We believe that running is a transformative act for everyone who chooses to participate. While we welcome runners of all ages and abilities, we do require that you have some experience running/power hiking with elevation. The terrain will challenge you and test your limits. 

For group runs we divide into pace groups as well as partner up to make sure that no one runs/hikes alone. Group runs/hikes are anywhere from 6-8 miles on dirt and rocky terrain. Expect lots of rocks and elevation. We will walk/hike the inclines and run/jog the flats.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

To sign up for this retreat, a non-refundable US $250 deposit is required. Your deposit is applied toward your retreat rate. The remaining balance is due 2/1/24. 

Because of the investment of time and money into planning the retreat and securing lodging, we are unable to issue any refunds. 

ALL payments are non-refundable, but are transferable. It is your responsibility to find someone to take your spot. As a result, Trip Insurance is highly recommended. You can purchase trip insurance through Travel Insured, World Nomads, or the company of your choice. 

We recommend purchasing your trip insurance at the time of deposit.
